Happy New Year everyone! 2019 was a blast, filled with the most amazing trips ♥ I wanted to do a quick overview before looking forward to the new year and the new adventures that it will bring!

Swedish Lapland

We started this year with what has to be the best (and coldest!) trip I ever made: Swedish Lapland. A winter wonderland filled with snow, hot chocolate, husky sledges, driving a snowmobile and ofcourse: the magical northern lights which was the highlight of our trip!

Köln (Cologne) and the Eifel

For our fifth year anniversary, we wanted to get away so we decided on a three day weekend trip to Cologne and the Eifel. We saw so many castles and wildlife, and Colgone is a lovely city where I’m hoping we will be back someday!

Sevilla

My first time visiting Spain was amazing. Sevilla is such a gorgeous city filled with beautiful architecture, parks and the best food! I loved it and to be honest, I did not want to leave. It was so warm and pretty there!

Tangier

Only a day trip from Sevilla but so cool it deserved it’s own spot in this list: Tangier, Morocco. The first time I traveled outside of my continent and it was exhilerating! It’s so much fun to see other cultures, try other foods and just be in a whole different part of the world, even if it’s only for a day.

Daytrips

I also did lots of daytrips this year! We went to the Efteling, MoviePark and the abandonded theme park Het Land van Ooit. We saw the tulip fields, Amsterdam, Zwolle, Giethoorn and Bruges.

It was an amazing year and I hope 2020 will be filled with just as much of awesome new experiences ♥
