The stuck-at-home traveler

Hey guys! How are you all doing? I hope you are all still happy and healthy! I am healthy and staying home. My country, the Netherlands, isn’t on lockdown (yet), but we are urged to stay indoors. Though I have no problem staying inside (I have enough hobbies to keep me busy for a couple of weeks, and also I just bought Animal Crossing New Horizons and it is quite addictive…)

Anyhoo, I am feeling a bit restless. Just not knowing what we’re in for, for how long this is going to go on, if my travel plans to Iceland will still be going through… And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. So I wanted to do something fun. The next couple of weeks I am going to give some stuck-at-home tips (books, movies, series, games, that sort of thing), but for today I just went traveling in my own home!

I went out but the door was closed, so I just turned around and explored my home…

Getting lost

I gotta say, my home is easy to navigate. I did not get lost once!

Local Cuisine

Wow, endless varieties of foods! Breakfasts, lunches, smoothies and soups, fish, veggies, coffee, tea… There are just so many things to choose from! Only downside: I’ll have to prepare everything myself…

The traveling bookworm

The literature here is exquisite. From classic literature to Young Adult romance novels, from fairy tales to hardcore fantasy. Again, there is just so many choice!

Wildlife

I’m not sure if wild is the right term, for these creatures seem to be calm and resting rather than being the wild feline. They appear to be friendly, are highly adorable and will even lie down on your lap when you’re not paying attention.

Yes, I think I can stay here for a while.

But now it’s your turn. I’m turning this into a tag, so you can travel your own homes as well! I think it’s important to have a little fun, and I’d love it if you guys would copy this tag and explore your homes. Let me know in the comments if you did!

Stay safe ♥
